Enough

Defining “enough” is CRITICAL on the journey to cultivating an authentic awareness of self all the way to self love. To truly understand why certain external factors resonate with us the way they do is empowerment. We cannot rewrite the past, but we can learn from it in the present, rē-COG-nīze in the present to write an aligned future.

If this sounds a little easier said than done, the ego may be out of balance with spirit. Authenticity becomes stifled when we take on desires, thoughts, and behaviors that are not our own. Is the occupation you hold one that satisfies you, or are you trying to make someone proud? Does acquiring many physical things fill the void of spiritual self? Are you trying to impress others? Even when we align our actions with beliefs that seem to be common and positive (i.e success), we must define and lay out what “fill in the blank” means to us. Becoming clear about the things that will satisfy and truly fulfill us helps mitigate lacking (can lead to ego inferiority) and attachment (can lead to ego superiority). This can also be viewed on the basis of intent. “Attachment” and an empty pursuit of “more” presents a connection to something without authentically aligned intent; for all things that come to be, shall come to pass.

The universal unfolding is inherently in flux and for the highest good. The best way to lead a satisfying, fulfilling life is to align your authentic light and flow with the unfolding. Periodically, check in with yourself to see if your “enough” still aligns with how you are developing; rē-COG-nīze and repeat!
